We held our second annual moot in honour of our late senior disputes and arbitration partner in Kenya, Evans Monari.
The moot involved an application for annulment of the Tribunal’s award dated 14 March 2011 in the matter of Commerce Group Corp & San Sebastian Goldmine Inc. vs The Republic of El Salvador – ICSID Case no. No/ARB/17, which was conducted in terms of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) Convention and the ICSID Rules of Procedure for Arbitration.
