The diverse expertise of leading African law firm Bowmans has been lauded in the Legal500 Europe, Middle East and Africa Report for 2024, which was released earlier today (27 March 2024).
This prestigious publication, which provides a who’s-who guide to the best law firms and top lawyers in the world, has ranked Bowmans in 21 legal areas, 14 of these were included in Tier 1, which is the highest possible rating in the report.
The firm’s lawyers were also highlighted, with 51 individuals receiving 55 rankings, the highest number of individual rankings the firm has achieved to date. Eight lawyers were included in the prestigious ‘hall of fame’ category; 24 were identified as ‘leading lawyers’; 15 were listed as ‘next generation partners’; and four were ranked in the ‘rising star’ category.
The Legal500 analyses the capabilities of law firms across the world, through a comprehensive research programme. Researchers assess the strengths of law firms in over 150 jurisdictions on a series of criteria including feedback from 300 000 clients worldwide, to benchmark law firms versus competitors in the various practice areas.
Some of the comments in the report include the facts that:
