Simon specialises in litigation matters. experience covers a wide spectrum of forms of dispute resolution ranging from private mediation and arbitration, specialist tribunals (such as the South African Companies Tribunal and the Press Council) to the civil courts. He has a particular interest and expertise in dealing with contractual disputes, company law matters, media law matters, cyberlaw and constitutional issues. He has worked for several of the firm’s large local and international corporate clients in high value and complex matters, including class actions. He holds a degree in politics and economics and uses both in his legal work.

His clients (which include both multinationals and local listed companies) span a variety of sectors including, banking and finance, retail, technology, pharmaceutical, advertising, media, mining and resources.
