  • Drafting motion and action proceedings.
  • Appearing in the Magistrates’ Court on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiating and preparing settlement agreements.
  • Providing multi-jurisdictional legal and commercially strategic advice to clients across sectors, including mining, construction, hospitality, banking and finance, project finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Preparing affidavits in a multi-billion rand South African mineworker class action.
  • Reviewing contracts and providing related advice.
  • Assisting in High Court proceedings for the recognition of an international arbitration award, successfully supporting the recognition of a USD 3,482,150 (ZAR 56,902,161.36) award.
  • Currently part of a team acting for a client in High Court tender review proceedings relating to a construction tender valued at ZAR 11 billion.

  • A leading global e-commerce company on the regulation, compliance and distribution of its physical and electronic gift card products in South Africa.
  • Various financial service providers on applications for reconsideration of decisions of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, including, research, strategy and submissions.
  • Local and international financial services providers on South Africa’s regulatory and compliance frameworks, with a focus on navigating complex and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Clients on pension fund claims from the Government Employees Pension Fund (Africa’s largest pension fund).

Project Finance
