- Multiple South African and international lenders on the USD 500 million and ZAR 5 billion financing to Anglo American Platinum Limited (now Valterra Platinum Limited) related to its demerger from Anglo American Plc. Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Investec Bank Limited and a large syndicate of South African and international lenders in relation to the USD 200 million facilities advanced to CRDB Bank Plc.
- Stanbic Bank Uganda on the USD 36 million financing of a Ugandan pharmaceutical company’s project of developing a new plant in Uganda.
- Investec Bank Limited, Nedbank Limited, Rand Merchant Bank and The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited on the ZAR 4 billion term, revolving and working capital facilities provided to Actom Proprietary Limited for purposes of refinancing its existing indebtedness. *
- Ninety One and The Emerging Africa & Asia Infrastructure Fund in relation to the first international debt raise for Paratus Group. *
- The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited and Stanbic Nigeria in respect of a USD 56,200,000 and USD 54,500,000 real estate funding transaction for the development and maintenance of two shopping malls in Nigeria. *
- Absa Bank Limited, Nedbank London, RMB Mauritius and The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited, Isle of Man Branch on the USD 425 million facility to FQM Trident Limited. *
- Absa Bank Limited and Rand Merchant Bank on the financing of the 97.5MWac Solar PV Project developed by Mainstream Renewable Power for generation and sale of energy to Sasol and Air Liquide.*
