Bowmans hosted a virtual discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on the Ugandan economy. The discussion covered large businesses, financial institutions and what the pandemic may mean for the Ugandan economy; as well as practical and relevant solutions to COVID-19 problems faced by business owners and managers; and opportunities that the pandemic might afford businesses. The webinar was facilitated by Mercy Odu, senior associate. Panel members included Dr Fred Muhumuza, development economist as well as Bowmans’ William Kasozi, head: Banking and Finance in Uganda, and partner David F.K. Mpanga.
